The value for the money is very good and the condition of the pool is quite good.

Although we only stayed a short while the Airbnb was clean and tidy! Vien is a very responsive host and was very accommodating when we had issues! Would recommend staying here if you want a relaxing retreat from the city!

It was very clean and spacious. The landlord's care was also good. Everything was perfect except for the inconvenience of not having a convenience store nearby.

This property is as shown in the picture. The pool is larger and deeper than the picture. It was used alone because there were few people using it. The laundry room is also equipped with detergent, and the bathroom has shampoo and body wash. The security guard is safe and friendly because he stays 24 hours. The surrounding There is almost no noise, and you don't have to be wary when going in and out. The location is also not far from the main tourist attractions if you use Grab. Smoking is allowed on the veranda, and there is a view of Landmark 81. This host is kind and quick to respond. I will definitely choose this accommodation if I visit again next time.

The area is incredibly quiet and distraction-free, making it perfect for both business travelers and families. The neighborhood feels modern, walkable, and serene—such a refreshing contrast to the hustle and bustle of District 1. Yet, it's only a 10-minute drive or bike ride away. Expect no traffic jams in this area. Plenty of beautiful green parks within walking distance, and the expat nightlife in District 2 is just a 10-minute walk north.

Amenities:
The property itself is exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I never felt cramped, which can sometimes happen with other Airbnbs. The swimming pool was a huge highlight; I had it all to myself most days! The sound and TV system were perfect for cozy movie nights.

Overall:
This place exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a great balance between convenience and tranquility. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others!

It's very clean compared to other Vietnamese accommodations, but there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby.

Good for family or groups. You’ll always need a taxi to go somewhere, so get yourself the grab app for easy transportation and food delivery. Place is clean, beautiful leather sofa, good fridge and A/C. Host won’t clean towels or bedsheets while you there, so get yourself some laundry detergent and use the washing machine. Great place overall and Rory is a good host. Very quiet neighborhoods too

Lakeview is in District 2 and there's lots to do within a 10 minutes walk. The apartment itself has a great view of District 1 and the CBD. It was clean and comfy. The pool is also very well maintained.

Rory was very responsive and I really appreciate the late check-out he agreed to at the last minute.

When we first stumbled upon this flat on Airbnb, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Rory, our host, is the most thoughtful and gracious host. They provided us with all the information we needed. The flat is just perfect! The kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom and balcony are excellent. The location is incredible.

5 BIG stars! Our family of four stayed a week at Rory's Home and highly recommend this apartment: super clean, new furnishings, comfy beds, fast & reliable WiFi, well-stocked kitchen, clean pool (very warm water), spacious, full laundry area... lots to love!

The apartment is in quiet neighborhood (more development will be happening in this neighborhood, but April 2024 was very quiet), easy 10-20 min taxi ride into HCMC attractions, 15 min walk to the Emart Hypermarket, cute coffeeshops in the neighborhood, and nice sunset views with many people flying kites in the distance.

We definitely will stay again when we return to HCMC. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place to stay for someone who wanna be between D1 and D2

Beautiful and tastefully furnished apartment, everything is new and functional. We didn’t explore much of the surrounding neighborhood, but it is a peaceful and quiet area with mostly apartment buildings. Big bonus, there is a large park nearby where locals fly kites in droves and turn the sky into an ocean of sea creatures, must go at sunset for beautiful views.

Easy to get food delivery with the Grab app. Laundry worked great and bathrooms were luxuriously large, rare in Hanoi.

We left a bunch of clothes drying (in a rush to catch a flight) and they went above and beyond to ship our things to us. The hospitality is unparalleled and I’d highly recommend this apartment to anyone who just wants a quiet place to sleep and relax away from the chaos of Saigon.

We liked the apartment, there was lots of space, two desks for laptop work and all the basics.

The apartment looked a bit empty and more decoration (as shown in pictures) would be great. Also more kitchen utensils would be good to have like plates, big bowls and cutlery.

The mattresses are pretty hard and the area is dead but it’s definitely nice to escape the hassle and still be close to the city center.

For this area and the quality of the apartment I‘d say it’s a bit expensive.

Everything was fine! I can only recommend.

We enjoyed staying at Rory’s home in District 2. It’s a peaceful location very close by to the rest of the city. The home was clean, spacious and the smart doors made checking in and out seamless.

Although the listing is not necessarily walkable to many things, I would highly recommend this BNB. My family and I had such a comfortable stay here. The listing was very spacious, looked even better in person, and was very chic. The wall lighting for the kitchen/living room is the most appealing part of the listing. The host was responsive to any concerns and questions. The security lady was the sweetest and most helpful during our stay from pleasant greetings to badging us in the elevator (only 1 set of elevator keys provided).

I would highly recommend this listing for groups of 4-6 if you are looking for a comfortable, spacious, and quiet place. Grabs into town are not too pricey either.

Rory’s home is spacious and have plenty of space. There’s a huge living room and 2 bedrooms, perfect for family stays or friends staying together. We even managed to catch the countdown fireworks from the rooftop of the house!
It’s rather easy to get around and there’s a few good restaurants to choose from nearby.
Apart from that, Rory was a responsive and friendly host who let us key in his phone number when we ordered pizza delivery as we didn’t have a Vietnamese number.
Overall a pleasant stay!
